Citation de BarryB :
Thanks for the warm welcome! I'm from Holland.

Currently I'm playing with a Stiga Offensive NCT. Now the Offensive NCT is getting a bit too slow so I'm looking for a replacement.
A blade that is somewhat faster, a 5 ply that has some flex and limited to novibration, in the 5.4mm - 5.9mm range, has a soft feel (softer than the offensive nct, but nowhere near to a balsa blade).

The Hypertouch is one blade I'm looking at. The other top candidate is the BTY Innerforce ZLF ; this blade has also a limba - ayous combination like I'm used to with the Stiga frames I always played. .

The Innerforce blades have a limba outerply. The Timo Boll blades have a koto outerply. Limba is usually a little softer and provides more dwell time than koto outerplies. So it's interesting to hear that you feel that the Hypertouch (with koto outerply) feels softer than blades like Timo Boll ALC and Viscaria. And did you even think it feels softer than the Innerforce ZLF with a limba outerply?? That would be really interesting.

By the way...I know what you mean with speed but you also use the word 'power'. Does that mean the same thing for you as speed or something different? I presume you also read this review: http://mytabletennis.net/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=59218&title=adidas-hypertouch-blade

I tried both the Innerforce ZLF and the Hypertouch. The Innerforce had some vibrations and a rather unlinear catapult that kicked in strong but rather late.
The Hypertouch was far better.
- Soft but not too soft
- Medium catapult
- Medium high throw
- Fast (OFF)
- Not more than little vibration
- A nice combination of feeling and control
- Well balanced - not head heavy

The Hypertouch is almost exactly what I was looking for and it plays terrific. I especially love the combination with Vega Pro 1.8 mm on my FH.

Hi everyone, sorry I'm posting an English message in this French forum, but I'm really interested in the Hypertouch blade and this forum seems to be the first one to discuss the blade. I am really curious how this blades differs from comparable blades with a koto outerply like the Viscaria or Timo Boll ALC or even softer limba blades with a fiber like the Innerforce ZLF?
What are your impressions...
- in terms of harder/softer
- in terms of throw angle
- in terms of catapult
- in terms of speed
Although the google translate french > english function is pretty horrible I try to figure out your answers :-).
